Wood in the spotlight at the Carrefour International du Bois

02 June 2016

Stora Enso is currently presenting its wood products offering at the Carrefour International du Bois in Nantes, France. The event takes place every 2 years bringing together over 500 exhibitors and 10 000 visitors from 70 different countries.

The Carrefour International du Bois has become the reference for the European timber industry. It is the only European tradeshow dedicated exclusively to timber and the event where you have the entire market range at your fingertips.

“This is a great meeting point for all timber professionals. Here you meet a large amount of current and prospective customers, but also other counterparts in the industry. The Carrefour gives us also a perfect opportunity to present our new products and services from LVL to Building Systems”, says Bruno Maresca, Managing Director of Wood Products operations in France.

At the core of Stora Enso’s business is the aim to replace non-renewable materials with products and solutions based on renewable materials. We use and develop our expertise in renewable materials to meet the needs of our customers and many of today’s global raw material challenges.

“Being present at the events like Carrefour enables us to promote sustainable solutions and show our commitment to innovation and renewability”, Maresca continues.
